B. " Mask of Agamemnon". This magnificient early Greek mask was discovered in the Sacred Grave Circle at Mycenae by the famous 19- century German archaelogist Heinrich Schliemann, who named it the "Mask of Agamemnon". Actually an early piece, it dates from c. 1550 BC and may be maent to be Inacus, mythical founder of Mycenae. Gold leafed and cast after the original. Measure 9 1/2"in H x 10 1/2"in W. #13S126
