Small Framed Pictorial Needlework, probably England, 18th century, stitched with silk threads on a linen ground, depicting an oak tree at the center flanked by flowering trees, a pond, and an assortment of animals and birds, (toning, losses), 7 3/4 x 12 1/2 in., in a period molded giltwood frame.

Condition

Condition: Unobtrusive stitch losses primarily on lower half of work on the monkey. dog, fish, and rabbit.
