In 1935 Louis Pierre Ledoux traveled to New Guinea to document the people of the Sepek River and surrounding areas. We are pleased to offer original material of Ledoux which contain a treasure trove of information of that expedition and important anthological data of the lives and customers of New Guinea and the Sepek River Valley. He also shipped materials to the American Museum in New York and the Peabody Museum Cambridge, Massachusetts. There is also a connection with Harvard to which Ledoux attended.
