George III-style marquetry inlaid mahogany serpentine sideboard. Late 19th century. Stepped top with brass three-quarter plate rail with urn finials, above a step-back section. Marquetry inlaid with alternating um, flowers, oval paterae within foliage tendrils and draping festoon, alternating with oval floral inlaid paterae stiles, the case having three aligned drawers with brass bail handle pulls, flanked by two bipartite deep bottle drawers. Alternating double um inlaid stiles within satinwood stringing. Raised on square tapered legs with inlaid bellflower pendants within satinwood stringing ending on Marlborough feet. 59 1/2" x 81-112" x 27".
