A Chinese Kesi textile panel. Qing dynasty. Depicting the story scene from Romance of the Three Kingdoms, of the famous battle of Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei fighting against Lv Bu. Warriors fighting from horseback in rock landscape outside city wall. On golden ground, with purple borders, decorated with floral and bat motifs. Torn between the image and the borders. Staining and discoloration. Overall: 32" x 33 3/4"._x000D_
