A FOUR PIECE REED & BARTON SILVER PLATED TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE IN THE "WINTHROP CHASED" PATTERN, TAUNTON, MASSACHUSETTS, 1952, comprising a coffee pot of lobed baluster form, the domed lid with scalloped rim surmounted by a pumpkin, vine, and leaf finial, the body with floral and acanthus scroll decoration with acanthus bordered reserves within each lobe around the waist, with "S" form spout and "C" form handle with insulators, raised on scrolled feet with acanthus leaf furrel, marked (elephant), "REED & BARTON, 1786C, Winthrop, Hand Chased, "A" within "C," height: 12 1/4", width: 10 3/4", depth: 6 1/4"; with matching teapot, two handled sugar bowl with lid, and cream jug.

Condition

In overall good condition with minor areas of loss to the plating; minor pin dents; surface rubbing and wear commensurate with age and use.
