A SOUTHERN EARLY CLASSICAL ROSEWOOD PARQUETRY INLAID GAMES TABLE, 1830-1850, the rectangular top opening to an inlaid satinwood and rosewood checkerboard, rotating over interior games storage, raised on a tapered, octagonal support, with a circular socle, on a serpentine, concave, "X" form plinth with canted corners, raised on rosewood bun feet. Height: 28" Width: 19" Depth: 13 1/4 NOTE: Secondary wood cypress and mahogany.
