A FIGURAL MANTLE CLOCK, LATE LOUIS PHILIPE GILT BRONZE, MOVEMENT BY DOUILLON, CIRCA 1845, in the Rococo Revival style, with a silvered circular dial enclosing black Roman chapters and reticulated hands above twin key escapements, within a beaded and cord detailed bezel, centered by a meridienne daybed form body cast with scrolling foliage decoration and draped with a luxurious fringed throw, supporting a wistful maiden en repose with long curling tresses and elaborately trimmed robes, on a stepped rectangular case, having nicely chased blossoming acanthus and palmette corner mounts, over waved ribbon "S" modeled brackets flanking a stylized spade form shell pendant, raised on curling foliate feet.
