A VICTORIAN ANGLO-INDIAN BRASS BOUND CAMPHOR WOOD WORK BOX ON LATER WALNUT STAND, CIRCA 1850-1875, the hinged rectangular box with brass banding, fitted with recessed brass campaign style handles, the top with brass inlay "V. SUNDRAMAIYER, T. SAMI CO.," the interior fitted with a removable five compartment tray and a fixed three compartment tray in Coromandel wood, and two letter racks also in Coromandel wood, raised on associated walnut stand. Height: 24" Width: 18 3/8" Depth: 13 5/8"

Condition

In overall fair to good condition, the lock mechanism lacking, as is the original diamond form lock escutcheon; minor gauging to the wood surfaces commensurate with age and use.
