Description
Bacchantes figures, he a Pan-type figure with basket of fruit, she holding a pitcher, both on naturalistic bases marked "Clodion", after Claude Michel Clodion (French, 1738-1814), probably early 20th century castings, green patinated surfaces, yellow marble bases, each 11 in. Scattered pitting, abrasions, areas of corrosion, he with small dents on proper left wrist and proper left chin. Provenance: Fisher Collection.
