A late Victorian silver and gold diamond brooch. Designed as two graduated old and rose-cut diamond crescent lines. May be worn as a pendant. Estimated total diamond weight 4 to 5cts. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.60ct, K-L colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Diameter 3cms. Weight 8.5gms.

Condition

  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • A few diamonds with small chips. Most diamonds appear to draw a slight yellowish tint.
  • Diamonds well matched. Mostly small, scattered inclusions, a few surface reaching.
  • Individual size and setting of smaller diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.

  • Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
