The condition is good . Overall a very decorative globe with a unique base. There is some touch up in the North Atlantic Ocean , overall all the country are readable , some oxidation on the paper . Unlike most US globe maker of the XX Hammond was in New York instead of Chicago , they used both W.& A.K. Johnston and Chicago gores with a Hammond label over the original cartouche.The 1920's were a period of deep and important change politically and geographically .
