A 1930's silver four piece tea service, comprising tea and hot water pots, a twin-handled sugar bowl and a cream jug, each of circular footed form with part fluted decoration, and wood handles and finials to the pots, hallmarked Harford Case Co., Birmingham 1930, plus a pair of Fiddle pattern sugar tongs, hallmarked Sheffield 1921. Length of teapot measuring 11 inches (28 cm), gross weight 46.61 ozt (1449.8 grams).

Condition

Appears in fair to good overall condition, displaying general tarnishing and some surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Also surface and edge nicks. The teapot with some heavier scratches and marks and a few minor dints. Hinged lids appear in working order, teapot lid with slight sideways movement, stained and dirty interior. Small end piece missing on hinge of hot water pot. Some rubbing but hallmarks still clearly legible.
