19th century, engraved and handwritten document, etching of ship under full sail and harbor scene, reads, "By the President of the United States of America, Suffer the Ship Eclipse of Salem, William Johnson master or commander of the burthen of Three Hundred and twenty six tons or thereabouts mounted with three guns navigated with sixteen men...to Pass with her company...without any hinderance...", signed June 13, 1831, "Andrew Jackson", "State of Massachusetts, District of Salem and Beverly", various scripts verso, 15 x 10 in.
