Description
BRADLEY & HUBBARD BRASS AND CAST-METAL BANQUET LAMP, opaque white ball-form shade with dark to light rose ground, polychrome floral decoration, brass globular-form ribbed font vase with metal liner, cast-metal base with step, extended paws and bead ornamentation, simple ribbed stem. Fitted with a B & H brass drop-in font with side-refill feature and wick raiser, shoulder with stamped beaded pattern and impressed "THE B & H", an electrified slip burner. Non-period colorless chimney with frosted finish. Bradley & Hubbard Mfg. Co. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 26" H to top of shade, 16 1/4" H to top of shade ring, 8 1/2" SQ overall base. Shade 10 1/2" H, 4" D fitter.
Very good condition, shade undamaged and with normal as-made flakes/roughness, expected wear to decoration, base with as-made separations, liner rim with light denting. Font with a dent, burner lacking components and with associated alterations, chimney undamaged. Electrical switch fitted in upper connector.
