A Medieval iron pick-type tool, c. 10th - 15th Century, formed from a single strip of iron with attachment shaft for a handle, the two narrowing ends now a bit distorted. L: 4 1/4 in (10.8 cm). Nice stable oxide patina. Ex collection of a Manhattan, New York professor, acquired in the 1970's.
