Rockabilly Auction Company is not a shipping company. Buyer Pays all shipping and handling charges PLUS A one time $10.00 FEE to transport your items to the shipper if the buyer has not already arranged their own shipping. THE $10.00 FEE IS NOT A SHIPPING COST ONLY A TRANSPORT FEE. The 10.00 fee will be added to the auction invoice. Rockabilly Auction Company uses the UPS store located in Cumming Ga. After the buyer completes the auction purchase, the items will be transported to the shipper. The buyer will be notified of the additional shipping fees by the UPS store. Please be advised that the email notification sometimes shows up in SPAM. If the buyer wishes to pick up or ship their items via any other method, please email or call ASAP at (404)452-9800 and advise Rockabilly Auction Company of the shipper you will have pick up your items. The transport fee will be taken off if you have your items picked up. We can supply a list of shippers other customers have used in the past upon request. These are independent shippers and do not work for Rockabilly Auction Company. All shipping arrangements are strictly between the buyer and the independent shipper. Please note: WE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FEDEX. FEDEX IS NOT ALLOWED TO PICK UP ANYTHING AT OUR LOCATION. DO NOT HIRE FEDEX TO PICK UP YOUR ITEMS FROM OUR AUCTION GALLERY. ROCKABILLY AUCTION COMPANY IS NOT A SHIPPING COMPANY. Rockabilly Auction Company is not responsible for any items lost, damaged, or stolen.
Payments are due by end of business on Tuesday April 9th. All online invoices will be paid through live auctioneers by clicking the "Pay Now" button on your invoice which you will receive through email.
Accepted payment methods
All bidders are advised to read the Terms & Conditions of the auction before bidding with Rockabilly Auction Company LLC. All bidders are bound by the terms and conditions of the sale, as amended by any oral announcement or posted notices, which together form the contract of the sale between the successful bidder (purchaser), Rockabilly Auction Company and the seller (consignor) of the lot.
TERMS OF SALE
When bidding on any lot offered by Rockabilly Auction Company, the bidder indicates acceptance of the following terms of the sale. Any participation in the auction binds you to agreement of the terms whether or not you read or understand said terms.
Rockabilly Auction Company strives to accurately describe all items offered in our sales. This description is to be used as a guide. All items are sold 'as is' and it is the bidder's responsibility (present or absentee) to determine the exact condition & value of each item for which a bid is entered. Rockabilly Auction Company will not be held responsible for typographical errors. Neither we nor the consignor make any guarantees, warranties, or representation expressed or implied in regard to the property or correctness of the catalog or other description of the authenticity of authorship, physical condition, size, quality, rarity, importance, provenance, exhibition, literature or historic relevance to the property or otherwise. No statement anywhere whether oral or written, shall be deemed such a guarantee, warranty or representation. Prospective bidders should inspect the property before bidding to determine its condition, size, and whether or not it is original or has been restored. The consignor and Rockabilly Auction Company make no representation or warranty as to whether the purchaser acquires any reproduction rights in the property. Returns will not be accepted under any circumstances. Items will be available for preview the day before the auction and by appointment.
All items are sold for display purpose. If electrical, mechanical, or other working parts are inoperable even if working at time of the sale Rockabilly Auction Company is not liable due to the inherent nature of the age of these antiques and items.
These items may be held for up to 5 business days so the state agencies can verify the purchaser's information. All auction bidders are urged to check the legality of possession and/or shipment of gaming devices to their state of residence. Any gaming device purchased through Rockabilly Auction Company shall be used for the purposes of display or social entertainment within the private home or resident of the buyer. Such devices shall not in any event or manner be available to the public for the purpose of gambling.
BIDDING RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The auctioneer will determine the highest bidder. Only the auctioneer has a right to reopen the bid should it deem necessary in the event of a tie bid on the floor. If there is a tie bid between the floor and internet bidder or absentee bid, the floor bid will take precedence.
Rockabilly Auction Company will use reasonable efforts to carry out online bids and do not accept liability for equipment failure, inability to access the internet or software malfunctions related to the execution of online bids.
Rockabilly Auction Company and its representatives reserve the right to remove any attendees who impede preview and/or auction. Title of merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder at the fall of the auctioneers hammer or the auctioneer saying sold. The buyer will then assume all risk and full responsibility of the lot once ownership has changed. Items may be removed from the auction only after full payment is received by Rockabilly Auction Company.
20% buyers premium shall be added to the successful bid as part of the total amount due for online and phone bidders.
PAYING FOR ITEMS
Current sales tax will be added to all Georgia resident buyers. A $10.00 TRANSPORT FEE will be added to each invoice requiring shipping. (This is only a transport fee to get your items to the shipper) Successful online bidders will receive an invoice no later than Monday after the close of the auction and must pay for items no later than the close of business on Tuesday April 9th 2019. Payments will be made online through Liveauctioneers by clicking on the pay now button on your invoice. Rockabilly Auction Company will not accept online payments directly. All online payments be will processed through Live Auctioneers.
It is the bidders responsibility to take packing & shipping costs into consideration when bidding on items. Packing, handling, shipping, and insurance charges are the FULL responsibility of the purchaser.
Rockabilly Auction Company will transport items to the UPS Store in Cumming GA. A $10.00 transport charge is due to Rockabilly Auction Company and will be added to your invoice. Purchasers will pay shipping & insurance charges DIRECTLY to the appropriate company doing the shipping. Any disputes & claims occurring from shipping issues will be handled between the shipper and the purchaser. Rockabilly Auction Company is not responsible for items once they have transferred ownership.
REMOVAL OF ITEMS PURCHASED
All purchased items must be removed from Rockabilly Auction Company within 14 days from the auction date in which the items were purchased. Unless alternate arrangements are made between the purchaser & Rockabilly Auction Company, any items remaining after 14 days will be considered abandoned and will become the property of Rockabilly Auction Company.
