Black's colorful general atlas, originally published shortly after the Civil War, with double-page maps throughout. This copy lacking the double page map of England and Wales (IX, X). With the armorial bookplate of Hellier R.H. Gosselin of Bengeo Hall, Hertford, mayor of Hertford, 1897-1899.
