(Universal, c.1970s) A very rare set of publicity photos of the classic Universal Monsters including Frankenstein's Monster, The Wolfman, Dracula, The Invisible Man, and more. These photos come from the collection of Bill Wallen, who explains, "There was a campaign by Universal to bring back their Monsters and pay tribute to them at the Universal Studios theme park. They told us that they wanted us to create imagery for posters to display on the back lot tour, so that the public would remember that they are the ones who made all of those classic monster movies. They gave us these iconic vintage publicity images as reference material to use in the creation of those posters". The images measure 10"x8" and are stapled along the edges to paper backings for display in a three-ring binder. The condition is very good with some edge-wear and creasing from use.
