Measures: 25.75 inches by 47.75 inches sight size, and 32.5 inches x 54.25 inches x 3 inches overall including framing.
Notes: Signed and dated, 1955. Bears an exhibition label from the San Francisco Museum of Art verso. Housed in the original frame.
Provenance: From a Bay Area collection.
About the artist: Lundy Siegriest, (American 1925-1985), lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born the son of influential California artist and member of the Society of Six, Louis Siegriest, Lundy studied, worked and exhibited throughout his life. Raised in the family mansion in San Francisco, Lundy was able to commit himself to the life of an artist at an early age. Lundy's works are held in many California public and private collections.
