NAILSEA / VERRE MOIRE MINIATURE LAMP, colorless with opal loopings and satin finish, fairy lamp style with three-piece construction, circular-form saucer base with large scalloped smooth edge rim, matching pattern cylinder-form font with banded/ringed top which fits into saucer base, matching dome-form shade with smooth fitter rim, scalloped rim top with applied blue threads extending to neck, period collar. Fitted with a period Spar Brenner burner and shade ring. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 7 3/8" H to top of shade, 3 1/2" to top of collar, 8 1/2" D saucer base.
Base with two shallow rim flakes to a scallop, shade fitter with normal as-made roughness, font undamaged, collar with denting. Burner with some repairs to shade holder junctures and later paint, chimney undamaged.
