Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A striking glass vessel of stunning blue-green hues and a pleasing weight, the form comprised of a smooth, rounded foot, a tubular body, and a broad, flat rim. Not only does this piece possess beautiful color - aqua and teal hues - but rainbow and silvery iridescence (almost mirror-like in areas) shimmers across the surface as well. A lovely example. Size: 2.875" H (7.3 cm)
