A nice Greek terracotta figure of a woman, c. 3rd Century BC, wearing chiton and himation, her features are nicely modeled, and her hair is styled back to a coiled plait at the nape of her neck. H: 8 5/8 in (21.9 cm). Light deposits with remnants of paint remaining. Ex collection of a Manhattan, New York professor, acquired in the 1970's.
