A lot of 4 Egyptian faience amulets. Lot includes three papyrus sceptre amulets, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, which symbolized resurrection and good health, two in green faience and the other in amazonite (feldspar), L: 40 mm, 38 mm & 37 mm. Also included is a New Kingdom pendant-bead with an animal face, perhaps a monkey, on one end and a suspension loop on the other, 20 mm. A nice group! Ex collection of Norma Goldman (1922-2011), Classics Professor at Wayne State University, acquired during the 1960's-70's.
