A nice Hellenistic Megarian red-ware bowl, c. 2nd - 1st Century BC, of hemispherical form, the bottom with a beautifully molded central rosette within a circle, radiating petals and palm frond around with smaller rosettes in the field. Above is a band containing small rosettes within two horizontal lines, a groove above. 3 x 4 3/4 in (7.6 x 12.1 cm). Very well-preserved with light deposits. Ex Orange County private collection.
