A Roman double spouted ceramic lamp, 2nd Century AD, with a central rosette within the discus, the spout long and rounded and adorned with volutes. The handle, which is originally from a separate lamp, is triangular and features a standing male figure with bare torso. On the bottom is an impressed three frond symbol within a shallow ring foot. L: 6 in(15.2 cm). Light deposits, some old restoration at base of handle which is from another lamp. Ex Southern California private collection.
