A pair of Nayarit Post-Classic creme-slipped bowls, West Mexico, c. AD 900 - 1200, each well-preserved with red rim and beautiful banded and cross-hatched burnishing designs on the exterior. Bowl: H: 2 ½ in (6.3 cm), Dia: 6 3/8 in (16.1 cm); Shallow bowl: Dia: 6 ¼ in (15.8 cm). Both nice examples with wonderful mottled mineral deposits.
