A collection of Ecuadorean & Taino small objects. Lot includes a Valdivian terracotta figure, Terminal Period, c. 1300 BC, a fragment of a Taino effigy vessel, c. AD 1000 - 1500, a Machililla little whistle from Ecuador, c. 1200 - 1000 BC, a spondylus shell amulet from Ecuador and the balance a wood figure of a parrot, a terracotta stamp seal and a modern stone bead. Largest 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 in (8.9 x 7 cm). Ex collection of a Manhattan, New York professor, acquired in the 1970's.
