Medal of Honor recipient) Bold blue fountain pen ink signature ('Capt Eddie Rickenbacker') on a plain postcard, addressed to a collector to the verso and postmarked at New York, 11th March 1952; Freddie West (1896-1988, British Aviator of World War I, awarded the Victoria Cross for his aerial actions with No. 8 Squadron, Royal Air Force, on 12th August 1918) Signed First Day Cover commemorating Manfred von Richthofen and featuring a colour illustration of The Red Baron in aerial combat and with a small inset head and shoulders portrait. Signed by West in blue ink with his name alone to a clear area of the cover; Willy Coppens (1892-1986, Belgian Pilot of World War I, officially credited with 37 victories, thus making him Belgium's most successful Ace and the champion 'balloon buster' of the war) Blue fountain pen ink signature ('Baron Coppens de Houthulst') and address in his hand in the return address panel removed from the verso of an envelope.
