American Rococo Revival Mahogany and Marble-Top Cabinet
third quarter 19th century, probably Alexander Roux, New York, the figured marble top with projecting ovolo corners, on a conforming case with a pair of drawers over a pair of doors, each door panel mounted with carvings depicting trophies of the hunts and flanked by columnar pilasters with carved capitals.

In overall very good condition, with an old, probably original, very lightly alligatored finish with minor
mars, scrapes and wear consistent with age and use.
The marble top is in good condition and appears to be original. There are a number of natural fissures and
small voids in the top.
Case is very sturdy and free of movement at its joints.
There are a few small veneer flakes and one larger one on the side of the case, about 1" x 2".
Retains locks and a functional key for the drawers.
