  • Provenance/Additional Information: This folky painted wooden wall hanging match box was found in a NY state cabin and displays the best original dry painted surface, folky chip carved edges, and 100% authenticity. Crackled maroon paint over cream yellow, with "matches" hand painted on front, circa 1890 to 1910. No repairs, cleaning or restorations. Age crack as seen.
