Book Details: This antique volume on the Civil War is bound in green publisher's cloth-covered boards featuring a gilt debossed American coat of arms and military weaponry. The work features a hand colored faux title page with the title "The Book of Anecdotes of the War of the Rebellion." The work is profusely illustrated with tissue-guarded plates as well as in-text illustrations.

Condition / Notes: This antique volume shows well, with some typical indications of age and wear, including shelfwear and rubbing, with mild soiling to the boards. The spine exhibits minor loss to the head and foot. The hinges are cracked, however the binding is sound. Text and illustrations are clear and legible through mild/moderate age toning/foxing.
