18th Century Qing Dynasty Chinese woven silk panel. Horizontal rectangular panel, masterly seemed with metallic silk thread of two wide bands enclosing the plain imperial yellow ground. The decorations depicted numerous dragons chasing the flaming pearls borne amidst fumes and flames over Rocky mountain and Lishui cresting wavy waters. Bordered with silver thread patterned blue ribbons. Matted on deep-sea-green board, wooden framed.


Measurements: 113" L x 45-1/2" H
