Scarce Parker Brothers VH Grade 28 Gauge Double Barrel Shotgun with Case Manufactured in 1911. According to the chart on page 258 of "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote, only 772 VH grade guns were manufactured in this configuration, chambered for 28 gauge shells. 2 1/2" chambers with single extractor, improved cylinder/improved modified chokes, and 14 1/4" LOP. With unmarked leatherette case. Manufacturer: Parker Bros Model: VH BBL: 26 inch solid rib Stock: walnut Gauge: 28 Finish: blue/casehardened Grips: Serial Number: 154038 Class: Curio & Relic Long Gun Condition: OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.
