Herman E. Bischoff, was an illustrator worked for Esquire magazine and created covers for Liberty magazine during the 1940s-50s.


He was also active in making many of the graphic pulp paperback covers you see from the 1950's.

This is a wonderful large watercolor gouche. It is probably an illustration for Esquire or some similar magazine. It is unsigned but we guarantee this completely as an origianal Herman Bischoff .
Sight size: 10 x 13" Frame size: 13 1/2 x 17 1/2"
Nicely framed in a silver type frame.
