A lot of three antique beaded necklaces. Lot includes
1.) A large strand of Native American glass trade beads, 19th Century, in translucent cobalt blue and colorless glass. L: 22 in (55.8 cm). Well-preserved and quite attractive.
2.) A necklace comprised of ancient beads and African trade beads. The mixed strand contains Near Eastern faience beads, c. 1st Millennium BC, one a large biconical example serving as a pendant, a few Roman glass beads, a few Medieval Islamic beads and striped African trade beads of various colors and sizes. L: 22 in (55.8 cm). A nice varied group of beads all strung on modern cord and clasp.
3.) A strand of Islamic beads, Eastern Mediterranean, the pink glass beads Medieval and the banded black glass examples somewhat later. L: 15 in (53.1 cm). Ex Southern California private collection.
