AMERICAN / GERMAN WOODEN STABLE TOY WITH ANIMAL FIGURES, LOT OF 18 PIECES, stable with six stalls having hinged doors, center stall on second floor with small sliding door to back, single stall on the top with door to back, wooden animal figures having polychrome-painted finishes comprising six horses, four sheep, three pigs, two cows, a rabbit, and a chicken. Unmarked. Late 19th/first quarter 20th century. Stable 14 1/4" W, 6 1/4" D, 14 3/8" H.
Stable with some wear, glue repair to roof, missing section of interior wall on second floor, some missing wooden dowel bars, and other minor imperfections; animals with expected wear, some with other imperfections including paint flakes and light discoloration, a few with glue repairs, one cow lacking udder teats.
