NEW ENGLAND PAINTED PINE CHEST OF DRAWERS, rectangular top with applied moldings, above two bonnet drawers with two small drawers between, above three full-length graduated drawers, raised on cut-out feet, possibly original turned knobs. Retains an old, possibly original, red-painted surface. Circa 1850. 49 1/4" H, 45 1/2" W, 20 3/4" D.
Very good overall condition with areas of expected usage wear. Lacking locks.
