ENGLISH / DUTCH STICK SPATTER / HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF 12, comprising a footed bowl, two two-handled cups, one sauce boat with undertray, one 9" D plate, and six 6 5/8" D plates, each having bold polychrome floral motif with yellow banded border. Printed marks "SOCIETE CERAMIQUE / MAESTRICT / MADE IN HOLLAND" and "ESTBD 1657 / ADAMS / ENGLAND" with other impressed marks. Societe Ceramique Maestricht, Maastrict, Holland; William Adams & Sons, Tunstall, England. First half 20th century. Bowl 7 3/4" D, 4 1/8" HOA.
Mostly undamaged, some having moderate crazing with spots of light discoloration, minor wear to rim, with expected short scattered scratches from use; one cup with rim hairline and minor flake to foot ring, bowl and plate with shallow flakes, possibly as made. Some manufacturing flaws, including firing separations, as made.
