Available in this lot we have a set of three Yoruba hand woven African tribal baskets. The baskets were hand woven by the Yoruba people of the Southwestern and North-Central portion of Nigeria and South-Central Benin. The baskets boast vibrant, naturally dyed color showing designs of animals and geometric patterns. The set consists of two round and one oval baskets originating from the mid 20th century. The pieces show good condition overall with some light wear. The round baskets measure 10" in diameter by 5 1/4" tall and 9" in diameter by 2 1/2" tall with the oval basket measuring 13 1/2" long by 9 1/2" wide by 2 3/4" tall.
