Description
Produced between 1870 and 1882. Groove sight, with "MY FRIEND PAT'D. DEC. 26, 1865" on the left side of the top strap. Engraved frame, with scrollwork on the sides, burst pattern on the front and behind the hammer and checkered shield at the rear. Matching partial number on the cylinder pin, with "63" stamped on the underside ahead of the trigger.
BBL: 1 5/8 inch cylinder

Gauge: 32 RF
Finish: blue
Grips: brass
Serial Number: 16212
Condition
Fine, with a mixed brown and gray patina on the cylinder, brighter on the other steel parts, with scattered spotting and some minor pitting. A few traces of original silver remain on the frame, mostly in the protected areas, with a mixed patina on the brass and some light scratching and dents. Mechanically excellent.
