Post 1886, probably the mark of J.D. Schleissner & Söhne, Hanau, comprising an .800 silver hot water pot with a warming stand and burner, height 15.5 in. (40 cm.); an .830 silver coffee pot, an .830 silver teapot, an .830 silver creamer, an .830 lidded sugar bowl, an .800 silver oval serving tray, the border with decorative reserves, width 26 in. (67 cm.), all executed in the Rococo taste with ornate floral finials, the bodies decorated with repousse work depicting bucolic scenes of figures amongst scrolling foliage, each vessel engraved with the initial "F" in the cartouche reserve; together with a pair of English sterling silver sugar tongs; total approx. silver weight 206 Troy ozt.
Condition: Age consistent wear. Some of the handles have lost screws.
