Brice Marden (American, 1938-) attributed: Abstract Composition, ink and watercolor on paper , signed verso, unframed. Brice Marden is a painter who, like his contemporaries Agnes Martin and Robert Mangold, investigated the nature of abstraction and the medium of painting itself. Visually, he is best known for his use of a monochromatic palette and gestural lines in his work.
