H-168 Lot of items from the estate of a WWII 4th Division US Marine - who served on Iwo Jima. Includes: (1) Three photos and USMC ID card. (2) Small bottle with "IWO JIMA SAND". (3) Set of four silk souvenirs "US MARINES "doilies". (4) Two newspaper articles. (5) Japanese currency. (6) Two 12 1/2" x 10" gilt prints-4th USMC insignia and a battle map of Iwo Jima. (7) Tan o'seas cap with gilt EGA insignia. (8) 1945 Discharge Certificate. (9) Two post-war reunion photos. (10) USMC 4th Marine Division stein and decal. (11) Souvenir set of four coasters picturing the flag raising on Iwo Jima. (12) Dull gold metallic figure grouping of the raising of the flag on Iwo Jima. Removable flag. 7" x 8 1/4" x 3 3/8". (13) Commemorative USMC ka-bar type combat knife. Dark blue blade with gilt lettering "United States Marine Corps" and a scene of the flag raising with "Iwo Jima 1945" and "Survivor 1995". Laminated leather ring grip. Brown leather scabbard embossed with an EGA and "USMC". With the original Camillus box and folder. (14) Three items referring to the above individual's father's WWI service-including his discharge which includes all service from the Mexican border in 1916 through the First World War. II
