Opaque pigments on paper, the vertical composition depicting a nobleman seated on a white and black horse holding a falcon in one hand, flanked on either side by male attendants, one holding a Western-inspired blunderbuss and the other holding a fly whisk, the scene set against a lush green field with a hazy mountain in the background, surrounded by a rich red border, the inscription in Urdu on the upper border reading Maha Raja Nonehal Singh (the novels of the rulers), 31.5cm x 34.5cm.
