Faberge Egg Imperial Rosebud Surprise Neckace Jewelry Box. This Rosebud Fabergé egg jewelry box is based on a jeweled enameled Easter egg made by Mikhail Perchin
under the supervision of the Russian jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé in 1895.
The egg was made for Nicholas II of Russia, who presented it to his wife, Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna.
This pristine Egg is a beautiful, shimmering orange color accented with golden bars, curves and arrows,
all of which are heavily embellished with crystals.
Upon opening the egg, one finds a velvet encased yellow enameled rosebud.
When removed from the egg, the rose bud opens to yet another surprise:
an egg pendant in a matching fiery orange color with arrows, embellished with a crystal cabochon.
The golden scrolled stand is separate.
