"AutographsMARK W. CLARK, World War II American General Whom Churchill Called “The American Eagle.”
Card Signed, “Mark W. Clark” in a shaky hand on a plain card, no date or place, 2.5” x 4.5,” Choice Very Fine. His signature, seemingly from later age, is nonetheless bold and clear; it measures 2” long and 1” high.

A hero in World War I, one of Eisenhower’s most trusted deputies and the liberator of Italy in World War II, Clark was the third and last overall United States commander in Korea. “I return with feelings of misgiving from [this] my third war”, he commented, “I was the first American commander to put his signature to a paper ending a war when we did not win it.”
