ARAZZA. TERRITORY OF ALASKA. 1936.
20 3/4x30 1/2 inches. Frank McCaffrey, Seattle.
Condition B+: minor tears and discoloration in margins; vertical and horizontal folds. Paper.
A map of Alaska, decorated around the border with bright green, orange, and purple totems, showing all of the cities and routes of transportation within the state. Of the two insets, one gives a better view of the southwest corner of the state and the other shows approximate distances from different places to Seattle. The Alaska Steamship Company, which was founded in 1894, was the premier passenger and freight service to the Alaskan territories up until the 1950s.
