Elvis Presley's Ordered 1974 Rupp Centaur 3-wheeler (Museum Exhibited) - This rare 3-wheeler motorcycle was personally ordered by Elvis Presley. The delivery of this trike was not in line with Elvis's desire to have possession of it immediately, thus another was ordered and it resides at Graceland today. This trike being auctioned was recovered from the backyard of a Memphis resident in 2012 and restored its formal glory. Finding this Rupp was documented on CMT's "Raiders of Rock" T.V. series in 2013. Rupp was an American company which started in early 1970, and produced a multitude of machines such as ATV's, dirt bikes, 3-wheelers and snowmobiles. This particular model, the Rupp Centaur, was only produced for two years in 1974 and 1975, and was made in four different colors and body styles. The bodies were constructed of fiberglass and were very flexible. There were only approximately 1200 made in total between the two years of production, and this particular one was purchased and owned by the King of Rock n' Roll. This vehicle is currently on display in a museum. Shipping will be at the expense of the buyer, and the auction house will help facilitate shipping arrangements, if necessary. The item is located in Missouri and will be accompanied by a bill of sale.
