Jerry Lee Lewis 1973 Grand Ole Opry Stage Worn Jacket W/Garment Bag, LOA & Signed Photo - This stunning piece of rock n' roll and country music history is a stage worn jacket worn by Jerry Lee Lewis during his debut Grand Ole Opry performance on January 20, 1973. Lewis was experiencing a career revival thanks to his country-leaning tunes, and when asking for a spot at the Opry he was asked to not perform any of his rock n' roll songs. Lewis played a set which was approximately five times the length of a normal Grand Ole Opry set, bringing the crowd to its feet and leaving them cheering and wanting more. This jacket bears an interior "Cortefiel Made in Spain" along with size 40. It is constructed of a luxurious velvet-like material with a paisley pattern and has a white lining. The jacket will come in Lewis' personally owned L. Rosens garment bag, along with a certificate of authenticity. It will also come with a signed photo of Lewis.
